The United States International Trade Commission (USITC) has announced the receipt of a new complaint. This complaint is about certain devices. The devices are wearable activity and health monitoring systems.

The complaint was filed by a company named UnaliWear, Inc. They filed it on September 21, 2026. The complaint concerns some companies. These companies include Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. from South Korea, and Samsung Electronics America, Inc. from New Jersey. Google LLC from Mountain View, California is also named. Garmin Ltd. from Switzerland and Garmin International, Inc. and Garmin USA, Inc. from Kansas are part of the complaint too.

The complaint states that these companies have broken U.S. trade laws. The laws say that they cannot import, sell for import, or sell in the U.S. after importing, certain devices that might be infringing UnaliWear’s rights.

UnaliWear wants the Commission to take action. They are asking for a limited exclusion order. This order would stop the devices from being sold in the United States. UnaliWear also wants a cease and desist order. This would require the companies to stop selling the devices.

The Commission is asking for public comments. They want to know if these actions would affect the public interest. This means they want to know if it would affect the health, safety, and welfare of people in the United States. They also want to know how it would affect competition in the United States.

People can send comments to the Commission. They need to do this by a certain date. This date is eight days after this notice is published. The comments should only be five pages long. People can send their comments through the Commission’s electronic document system online.

This notice and request for comments were issued by Lisa R. Barton, the Secretary to the Commission. The notice was filed on September 23, 2026.
