Estimated reading time: 2–4 minutes
On June 13, 2025, the Department of Justice published a notice in the Federal Register about changes in the Global Synchronizer Foundation (GSF). This notice is made under the National Cooperative Research and Production Act of 1993.
GSF sent written notifications to both the Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission. These notifications let the government know that four new members have joined the group. The new members are Proof Group from Menlo Park, California; T-RIZE Group from Montreal, Canada; Chainlink Labs from New York, New York; and BNP Paribas from Paris, French Republic.
This update was filed by GSF on May 19, 2025. It is meant to help protect group members by limiting damages in some antitrust cases. The Act only allows antitrust plaintiffs to get actual damages in specific situations.
No other changes were made to the group’s membership or planned activities. Membership in GSF is still open. GSF will keep submitting notifications when there are more membership changes.
GSF first filed a notification with the Department of Justice on September 18, 2024. The Department published a notice about this on October 11, 2024. The last update before this one was filed on February 25, 2025, and a notice was published on March 7, 2025.
Suzanne Morris, Deputy Director of Civil Enforcement Operations, Antitrust Division, signed this latest notice.
