OFAC Adds New Names to SDN List in January 2026 Action

On January 15, 2026, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) took new sanctions action.

The update was officially published in the Federal Register on January 20, 2026, Volume 91, Number 12, on pages 2428 through 2433.

These actions include new additions to the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List (SDN List).

OFAC confirmed that these individuals or entities met the legal requirements under specific Executive Orders.

These Executive Orders are:

  • Executive Order 13553,
  • Executive Order 13876,
  • Executive Order 13902.

As a result of this action, all property and interests in property of the listed persons that are subject to U.S. jurisdiction are now blocked.

U.S. persons are generally prohibited from engaging in any transactions with these designated individuals or entities.

The exact names and identifying information of these persons were included in the Federal Register notice and accompanying TIFF image files on pages 2429 to 2433.
