NIC Advisory Board Charter Renewed Through 2027

The National Institute of Corrections (NIC) has renewed the charter for the NIC Advisory Board. The renewal is for two years, and it lasts through September 12, 2027.

The NIC Advisory Board is a federal advisory committee. It was created by law under the Federal Advisory Committee Act, found at 5 U.S.C. 1001-1014 and 41 CFR 102-3.50(a). This law guides how advisory committees work in the government.
