Content: Executive Order 14309 of June 16, 2025 (Implementing the General Terms of the United States of America-United Kingdom Economic Prosperity Deal) (Executive Order 14309) establishes a tariff rate quota on automobiles that are products of the United Kingdom (UK), provides for preferential tariff treatment for automobile parts that are products of the UK and for use in UK automobiles, and removes certain tariffs from products of the UK that fall under the World Trade Organization Agreement on Trade in Civil Aircraft. Executive Order 14309 provides that the Secretary of Commerce, in consultation with the United States International Trade Commission (ITC) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is to publish a notice in the Federal Register to modify the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) to conform with that treatment.
