Content: The Department of Commerce, in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA), invites the general public and other Federal agencies to comment on proposed, and continuing information collections, which helps us assess the impact of our information collection requirements and minimize the public’s reporting burden. The purpose of this notice is to allow for 60 days of public comment preceding submission of the collection to OMB.

2. Judges Panel of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award

Sub: Commerce Department, National Institute of Standards and Technology

Content: The Judges Panel of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (Judges Panel) reports the results of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (Award) activities to the Director of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) each year, along with its recommendations for the improvement of the Award process. The purpose of this meeting is to review the results of examiners’ ratings of applications. Panel members will vote on which applicants merit site visits by examiners to verify the accuracy of quality improvements claimed by applicants. The meeting is closed to the public to protect the proprietary data to be examined and discussed.
