This meeting also highlighted significant achievements:
On February 13, 2022, the ISO officially approved the project proposal for ISO/TS 44006 “Guidelines for Industry-University Cooperation”, jointly led by the CCOIC Commercial Sub-Council and the Shenzhen Institute of Standards and Technology.
With a remarkable 91.67% approval rate, this marks:

  • The first ISO project led by China under ISO/TC 286 (Collaborative Business Relationship Management Committee) since its establishment in 2013;
  • And the world’s first international standard in the field of industry-university cooperation.

Looking ahead, the CCOIC’s new Standardization Committee on Industry-University Cooperation will focus on developing standards around industry-education integration and business-academic collaboration, contributing Chinese best practices and group standards to future ISO international standard-setting efforts.
